With 20 years of experience in regional planning law, urban planning law, environmental law and real estate law, Annabelle VANHUFFEL advises her clients with an emphasis on professional precision and prompt responsiveness. She represents them before administrative and judicial bodies where she defends their interests.
She is a conciliator with the Chamber of Conciliation, Arbitration and Mediation for Real Estate. She also acts as a party counsel in the aforementioned methods of resolving disputes in her chosen fields.
In accordance with regulations by the French- and German-speaking Bar Association of Belgium of 11 June 2007, he is certified specialist in urban planning law and environmental law.
She teaches the module of criminal law of the environment and urban planning as part of the interuniversity certificate in criminal business law organized by the Catholic University of Louvain, the Free University of Brussels and the University of Liège.
She gives lectures at seminars, conferences and training programme sessions, and publishes articles in her chosen branches of law. She was a lecturer at the Université catholique de Louvain.
Her principal fields of activity are regional planning, urban planning and environmental law, and civil real estate law (construction law, property law, real estate contracts, etc.). In recent years, she has developed specific expertise in environmental law, land management and the rehabilitation of brownfield sites.
