Commercial planning law

Commercial planning law

This field defines regulations concerning the development of retail sales areas and the associated administrative procedures for authorisations and declarations.

In the Walloon Region, as in the Brussels-Capital Region, this branch of law, which includes the rules relating to the development, revision and application of standards relating to the location of commercial areas and the rules concerning the administrative procedures for issuing the authorisations necessary for setting them up (commercial establishment permit or integrated permit) as well as the effects of these authorisations, have been integrated into the general regulations of urban planning.
