After working in a law firm renowned for its work in the field of urban planning and environmental law, with offices in Namur and Brussels, Guillaume De Smet joined the HV-A association in 2020.
He advises his clients in the fields of regional planning, urban planning and environmental law as well as civil real estate law.
He represents and defends his clients’ interests before administrative and judicial bodies (civil and criminal).
Guillaume De Smet also speaks at seminars and in training programme sessions, and publishes work in his fields of expertise.
His principal fields of activity are urban planning law, environmental law and civil real estate law (including construction law and property law). He has a particular interest in criminal law as it relates to construction law and urban planning law.
